Professional, knowledgeable and compassionate staff. I was admitted for a life threatening condition and the communication and coordination between the different departments was so flawless it reminded me of being in the military. The physicians, nurses, and CNAs knew the plan of care. Every staff member I encountered treated me with the highest respect. This was my first ever hospitalization and I hope it was my last but if I have to be hospitalized again I will be coming to ABSMC

I had the best care and experience at this hospital. I spent a month there , my surgeon Dr. S.Stanten and his team was the BEST 👌🏽 I have a deeper appreciation and respect for the ENTIRE staff . The doctors, nurses, housekeeping, food services ,even the phlebotomist that came to collect blood everyday🤪😊 . They treated my family and I with much respect and care. I recommend this hospital to everyone who's in need of a hospital that they can be assured to get the care needed.

Pre Op process takes entirely to long! Why are patients filling out packets at the window? There should be clip boards handed out and then people be allowed to full out the forms at their seats so that the line moves quicker. Do better!

Waiting for a half hour to get a visitor badge is absurd!! Patient safey and an ability to move through your system is bad. You need an expedited system that doesn’t make it inconvenient for all.

I had a very troubling experience with Dr. Martin Vakili. He was rude, combative, and dismissive while I was in severe pain, which made me feel unsafe under his care. He changed my medication dosage without consulting me or properly assessing my pain, delaying treatment and worsening my condition. Making unilateral medication changes raises serious concerns about informed consent and may violate California’s Patient Bill of Rights (Health & Safety Code §124960). When I questioned his behavior, he accused me of being combative instead of taking responsibility. I also felt discriminated against based on my skin color, which is prohibited under California’s Unruh Civil Rights Act (Civil Code §51) and may constitute unprofessional conduct under the Medical Practice Act (Bus. & Prof. Code §22
