AFC Urgent Care Lyndhurst

I had an excellent experience at this urgent care. The staff was welcoming from the moment I walked in, and the check‑in process was quick and organized. The nurse and provider took the time to listen, explain everything clearly, and make sure I felt comfortable. I was seen promptly, and the care felt thorough and compassionate. I truly appreciate how smoothly everything went and would confidently return if I ever need urgent care again.

I had a great experience at this urgent care center. The front desk lady was amazing friendly, efficient, and very welcoming. I know she also does X-rays, which just shows how versatile and dedicated she is. PA Kelly was thorough and took the time to explain everything clearly. The young lady who did my bloodwork was gentle and made the process quick and easy. The whole team was professional and caring. Highly recommend!

I had a very troubling experience today at AFC Lyndhurst Urgent Care. I was seen by Dr. Agahbi for eye pain and redness. Upon entering the exam room, he did not wash his hands, use hand sanitizer, or put on gloves before attempting to examine me. There was no indication Dr. Agahbi had taken proper hand hygiene measures before entering my room. Before I could fully explain my symptoms, he reached directly toward my face to examine my eye. I stopped him immediately and request that he wash his hands first. This should never fall on the patient to enforce. I also noted a strong odor of cigarette smoke on his hands, which was particularly concerning in a healthcare setting. My experience was excellent. I walked in without an appointment and was immediately welcomed by the receptionist, who had great energy and was very friendly and funny. The nurse was extremely attentive and made sure I was okay, especially since I felt very dizzy after getting my ears cleaned. The doctor was kind, efficient, and straight to the point. I truly appreciate everyone’s care and professionalism. God bless you all.

It is called Urgent Care for a reason. I opt to go to Urgent Care because now with all these insurance changes, I don’t know which doctors take my insurance anymore. I made an appointment online. Got the Urgent Care, I was greeted by two professionals, who knew there job and were very competent. If for any reason, other patients needed help with the online application, they would come to the front and help them. You barely see that kind of caring service anymore. I waited for about 15 minutes. I saw the doctor, all my concerns were taken care of. I was given an injection and prescribed medication in about 2-3 days. I was at least 80% better. Will definitely, keep going back, if needed and fully recommend this office.
