It was terrible drove 2 hours for and appointment today Monday 1-12-26 that was verified on Friday. They called and asked if I had the same insurance and I explained I did, they obviously didn't do their job and verify my insurance information until I drive 2 hours. I asked Geannie at the front to call the 800 on the back of my card to verify, so I went into the waiting area to wait for my appointment. Geannie came back out and said my insurance wasn't valid, I explained it was but I'll have to figure it out. I made a different appt. until I could figure out my insurance. My appt. was at 1pm and I was there at 12:50pm as they asked, it was probably 1:10pm when I left and when I went outside I thought I drove 2 hours so I called the 800 number on the back and within 2 minutes I was able to

Dr. Noparstak and his staff are WONDERFUL. From my 1st skin check to my 1st (and hopefully last) basal cell carcinoma removal 2 wks later, Dr N explained procedures and proactively allayed my fears by detailing each step. His pre-op reassurances proved spot on and my surgery was quick and painless, and my scar is healing beautifully. Dr Noparstak was kind, professional and efficient, as was his lovely staff. We are lucky to have him in Ellsworth!

EDITED: Dr. N requested that Google remove my original review, claiming it was against Google Store Review Policies, though I could not find anything in it against their rules. However, I want to make sure this doesn’t eventually get removed on a technicality, so I’ll keep what had been a detailed description of my story very simple: I had an extremely negative experience with this doctor, who seemed very rushed, did not listen to me, and did not provide me information regarding all of my options. While he caught something important about my health, for which I remain grateful, he was also dismissive of my other questions and concerns. The staff is friendly and the doctor is very thorough and has removed several moles which potentially saved my life. He also takes a personal interest in your life and seems to really care about you as a person.
