My Children have been patients at South River Pediatrics for nearly 3yrs and have always appreciated the quality of care from the medical staff. However, my recent experience left me deeply disappointed due to the front desk staff's unprofessionalism and poor communication. I arrived for my children’s sports physicals and informed the front desk accordingly. I had the completed High School form but not the Middle School one. I was then told I would need to pay a fee for sports physicals—$25 for same-day paperwork or $12 if I waited 3–5 business days. I had not been reminded during booking the appointment that this carried a fee and expressed my concern. Gosh I love this place! We have always had a wonderful experience with all the staff, but we usually see Krystal. She is truly the best and always makes me feel like family! I always get an honest opinion and never have a problem getting an appointment. Taylor and Jen are the sweetest nurses. The front desk staff are always so kind and personable. Highly recommend if you are looking for a great pediatrician in the area.

First, I will start off with the front desk ladies, nurses and two of the doctors we saw were all very kind. However, the "medical director" who saw our daughter most recently caused both my husband and I to make a switch to a different practice. She was very condescending in the way she spoke to us and also completely brushed off my concerns about a rash my daughter has and constipation issues she has. The rash turned out to be ringworm when I took her to a dermatologist. The medical director/doctor told us it was just from drool and didn't even look closely. She and the other 2 Dr/NP also missed a possible tongue and cheek tie. The main reason for leaving was the way were treated and dismissed by the medical director. If I could give South River Pediatrics 10 stars I would. Any time our children have had to be seen at South River Pediatrics, we have had a great experience. On two separate occasions we have been able to get same day "Sick" appointments with no issues at all. The staff is incredibly nice and well-spoken. They do not push unnecessary tests and are sensitive to our children's emotional well-being.
