Yorktown Pediatric Dentistry

We typically have good experiences here, so I was surprised when we had a hygienist who didn't seem to do well with kids. She was trying to give instructions to my son, but talked to him like he was much younger than he actually is. She instead told me I need to be watching him rather than talk to him about what she thought. He told me he felt like he was in trouble. Then, she was trying to get him to switch out from the chair without sitting it up. We didn't understand what she wanted when she said "Use your muscles", so she abruptly said "Get up." He wasn't asked what flavor he wanted for the treatment and ended up an awful taste. We couldn't tell when she was finished. No 'bye' or "have a nice day." She wouldn't make eye contact and just said "They'll schedule you at the desk." No one w

The staff is the best! They are alway great with my kids, and I bring in 3 at a time for checkups. There is a long wait or rudeness to deal with. Doctor Helen works great with my special needs kid. She is kind but firm when needed. Definitely recommend them!

I had such a great experience bringing my daughter here! The whole team was so kind, patient, and attentive from start to finish. They took their time to make sure she felt comfortable and relaxed, which meant a lot since it was her first visit. The dentist and staff explained everything in a way that helped her stay calm and even enjoy the appointment. I’m really pleased with the care we received and definitely recommend this office to other parents looking for a great pediatric dentist!

I needed an Emergency appointment and they were the only one ready to see my baby the next day! Everyone else was booked months out even her primary dentist. Yorktown Pediatric Dentistry has the sweetest hygienist, very gentle, knowledgeable, and thorough. Made my baby so comfortable and relaxed. The doctor also was very thorough, asked what my concerns were and then addressed them. We were seen at our scheduled time, waited on Doc to discuss X-ray findings, maybe 10-15 minutes! That’s all. Even the front desk office manager and the other office associate that was there were so pleasant and knowledgeable. I can truly say I can trust them with my kids. I’ll be switching my two oldest kids to this one STAT.
