York Post Acute

My mother was in rehab at this facility for about two weeks. The staff on the Liberty wing went well beyond their call of duty for my mom while she was there. The nurses Mary, Maria, and Hannah were awesome. The CNA Taylor was just awesome with my mom. Every time Taylor would walk in my mom’s room her face would light up. I recommend this facility to anyone! Thank you for you all for taking such good care of my mother. ❤️

My Mother became a patient for long term rehab. The social worker, Sarah, was fantastic and communication from her was great. I had 1 care team interaction that was also great and very productive from all aspects of her care! Her private room was always clean. However, I do wish she had larger size trash cans as she has more trash due to having to change her depends and urostomy bags, etc... Also, the room lighting is kinda dark even with blinds open. Maybe a higher watt.? The only complaint I have is meal menu...she can't do spicy foods and is I guess not given an option?? The Christmas decorations were lovely and helped to make the place more cheerful for what can be a depressing situation for people away from their homes. I was recently a rehab patient at York Post Accute in Yorktown, VA.. I could not have been more pleased with ALL the services that were provided me. The Rehab staff both PT and OT were great, the administrative staff was friendly and willing to meet my needs so effectively,the nursing staff very efficient and the cafeteria staff was amazing. I could not have more grateful and pleased with my time there.

I recently spent a month here on the Colonial Unit after unexpected surgery. The staff was compassionate and hard working at all times. The therapists I worked with were also very caring. Only negative was a dated heating unit which blew hot and cold and a mattress which has seen better days.

The staff are amazing at York Post Acute! They are caring and want to make a positive impact for the residents. Therapy works very hard to get residents back on their feet during their skilled stay! Overall I would recommend this facility for skilled nursing needs!
