Check in was wonderful, informative, and super friendly. Testing was very thorough and the girl that does that was very sweet and answered all my questions. The exam itself was also very thorough and informative. The girl who comes in the room with Dr. Yandell is so very precious and sweet. The lady who does glasses was very informative when it came to picking out what I needed. She helped me find a cost efficient frame that I still thought fit my personality and face. Which was wonderful! Check out process was super simple and my appointment was already made by the time I got to her. All around amazing experience with this staff. Would highly recommend to anyone I know.
Greeters were nice! Dr was average. He tried to convince me i need lasix surgery "down the road". The lady who was helping me look for frames was rude, Degrading, she didn't want to help me verify my insurance coverage, after disagreeing with me that I don't have coverage and I do! she didn't offer to show me the "budget frames" rolled her eyes at me multiple times when I said sheesh these are expensive! then tells me the lens aren't included you know? I can show your the budget room if you need it! I says yes! I sure would, isn't everyone watching the money these days? Her reply was ummm no! I said well unfortunately I don't have that luxury to blow money on $300 frames. She needs a lesson in customer service and compassion. Actually she needs to just be freaking nice. Becaus
Receptionist was nice, dr was great. Lady on the side where you get glasses was a witch. Claimed I owed from my last visit the year before, when we all know they don't let you walk out of there with your glasses unless you have paid. I will not be going back.
I had been a patient there for nearly 20 years… today they waited till 15 minutes before my appointment to call and cancel it and then tried to make me wait over a month to reschedule after I had already waited 2 weeks for this one. When I called to make the appointment I explained I was having Increased issues with my vision and I needed to be seen. Today when I explained that waiting over a month was not acceptable she said the soonest they had was over 2 weeks out. Again I said no… she then told me I could call the other offices and see if they could fit me in at Greenville and Newport… I’ve been in the same office with my kids for years… and when I again said no- Morgan got an attitude and said there was nothing else she could do. Had a good experience with intake and actual eye doctor but the experience after the initial visit was terrible. My son ordered and paid for both glasses and contacts in September. While he did receive the glasses they never did produce the contacts. They told me twice that they had re-ordered them. During this time they did give him a few more trial pairs to last him until his came in but they wouldn't release his prescription since he hadn't had his final fitting with non-trial contacts. After giving them 6-8 weeks to come in after each time they were ordered I stopped in (it's now March and a total of 5 months later) to get the issue straightened out. They said they'd look into it further and give me a call. While they did call back in a timely manner they then proceeded to buckle down
