I changed Doctors a/c my doctor was 25 miles away and I wanted someone closer, 5 miles was good, thus S. Abington/Clarks Summit. My first appt, for Covid vaccine I had to wait an hour. When leaving I was to make an appt. for the 2nd shot. there were 8 people in line waiting to get to the window. i waited 10 minutes, left, called, made the appt. that way. Then, I needed a script filled. It's been 5 days and I still don't have it. The "call center"...? i waited 17 minutes for them to answer. Then I waited another day for the Clarks Summit/S. Abington office to call. I gave the "nurse" the info. next day, still nothing from Express Scripts. 4 more phone calls to the W. Center, two different nurses, and finally a doctor's script was sent to Express Scripts. With NO Refills which means I will h

What the heck is the point of making an appointment here? First appointment ever at this location. Had a 4:30 appt for my baby. We waited for an hour and had to leave. A couple left as we entered and there was a single patient ahead of us who was seen by ten minutes after our arrival.

Dr. Baroody is fantastic. Knowledgeable, listens and cares. That said, the bureaucracy and total lack of competence and communication between the answering service, clerical staff and the doctors is absolutely going to result in tragedy. I tried to have a testing procedure scheduled for months to no avail and am still waiting to find out if I'm ill. The only way to receive a modicum of service is to threaten legal action. Messages go totally unanswered or are given several contradictory answers by several different non-medical staff. It is absolutely IMPOSSIBLE to call the office directly, rather phone tag with the inept answering service is the mandatory procedure. Dr Leo doesn"t seem to know much. I have a bad back and am losing my ability to walk. He said there was nothing wrong with me. His assistant sent me for an M.R.I. which discovered that I have bulging discs which are putting pressure on my nerves. Now I have to find a back doctor. The assistant also prescribed pain pills. Leo had refused to do this.
