Pediatric Dental Specialists

Dr. Hanyon told me my son needed to be put under anesthesia, that he had 7 cavities that needed to be filled. He is 4 years old. I decided to get a second opinion due to my gut telling me to, he was able to get his 2 cavities filled in my family dentist office without having to go to a hospital and spend a few thousand dollars. This Dr. lied about my 4 year old son's teeth. He never had 7 cavities... nor did he need to be sent to a hospital to be put under to have surgery on his mouth.

We love Dr Hanlon and all of the dental hygienists and office staff. Everyone is patient and kind to our kids and puts them all at ease for their visits. Even our three year old is happy and excited to go to the dentist. We would recommend them to anyone. It’s almost an hour drive from our house but well worth it!

I have brought my daughters to Drs Paoli and Hanyon exclusively since they have been old enough to require dental treatment. Everyone in the office had always been AMAZING& treats us all professionally and with kindness… the dentist can be an intimidating place and everyone in the office has endeavored to make my girls as comfortable and confident as possible.

Staff errors made a 5 minute cleaning appointment take over 1 1/2 hours. We were on time. We watched several patients arrive and ALL leave during. Staff was unapologetic. Dr. excuse was she was the only one on duty, so Staff are relied on to ensure correct flow of patients. Staff failed. Previous appointments have always run long but this was absurd. Slap in the face to pay $175 and be expected to wait - with a small child! Thankfully our son is well behaved and patient. Lesson learned. Canceled next appointment. Btw, the hygienist was excellent. Sad to have to find a new pediatric dental office.

I was referred to Dr. Hanyon when my youngest was in need of dental work and did not do well seeing our regular dentist at the time. Dr. Hanyon and everyone at Pediatric Dental Specialties were amazing from the beginning. They are so patient and kind and the office is designed for kids. We drive over an hour to see her for regular cleanings now and it’s totally worth it! I 100% recommend taking your children here!
