Only send your loved ones here if you want them to die. There is some serious patient negligence here. My grandmother was sent here for what should have been a short stay after being in Lahey. Within the first two weeks of her being here they called me telling me I should switch her to Medicare even though her insurance covered 100 days in a rehab- a smart ploy that would give more money to them. One night after returning from her dialysis session no one answered the phone to let us back into the building and we stood outside not knowing what to do for 30 minutes until a maintenance worker gave me the code to get into the building- a serious safety concern. When finally making our way back to her unit they told me no one is paid to answer the phone and the woman at the desk said it wasn’t

Failure to identify and reach out to healthcare proxies timely and when they finally did, failed to respond to multiple requests to participate in team meetings and discharge planning. Tried to convert to a long term resident against patient and family wishes. Failed to implement both a serious and correct treatment request and convey educational information to the patient who resisted. Overall, the most abysmal experience in this type of facility ever encountered. Once a staff member with no i.d. and without inteoducing self entered during a family visit talking over everyone including an online translator and bullied the patient into rejecting family efforts to plan for the future. I know what does constitute good care having been the quality leader in another rehab. This isnt it.

Our experience with Woburn Rehab and the team has been truly Fantastic. Crissy and the Admin team with Amy and their Staff, Kate and Shakira and the nurses and Juliette and the doctors have all been top notch. Mom was not doing well the day she arrived and it was very stressful for us but Chrissy really saw that this was the right family and our mom was the right person to be admitted in. Mom was nervous and scared but the facility really stepped up Big Time.Our mom has thrived there. Mom is coming home now and we highly recommend this facility.

This place has an old people smell that lingers all the time. They have the clients washed once a week. I’m not surprised that this place has a smell to it. They literally have one Wash room on the wing that my mother in. Gives hospital vibes. Patient are always in the hallway. They seem stuck in there rooms all the time and bored. They look like they waiting to die. If it wasn’t for my young kids I think that only time I seen them smile. Some Staff don’t seem like they care about their patients. I give thanks for those who do their job well. But they need structure for those who are long term patients and activists for them to enjoy.

I have a family member who has required rehabilitation several times and at multiple locations, but our experience here has been the most professional I’ve ever had the pleasure to work with. The staff are so caring and empathetic to the needs of the patients, and on so many occasions have far exceeded their roles as caregivers. I couldn’t be more grateful to have this experience for my family member and would unconditionally recommend this facility for your loved ones.
