Pro: Dr Flynn and staff very kind and personable BIG CON: Dr Flynn glaucoma management style is very reactive vs proactive…in other words, Dr Flynn waits for real nerve / visual field damage before taking action against glaucoma. As a young man with glaucoma, it was heartbreaking to find this out late in the game after I lost 40% of my visual field. He never took any aggressive action with my high eye pressure (19) because my visual field was stable - until it wasn’t and I lost nearly half the vision in my right eye. I did everything a glaucoma patient is supposed to do - never missed a drop or a visit. In my opinion he completely mismanaged my case.
