Just had my initial dental appointment with Dr Wright and did not feel very welcoming. Don't know if she was just tired today or... She maintained this manner throughout our appointment. When I asked about sedation, she acted like it was basically a waste of her time. She literally said "That's just added responsibility that I have to do to monitor you during the appointment" and I charge $400 for it. Very discouraging. I do respect her knowledge and skill. For that reason, I will be getting the crown and fillings with her. I hope that this is not a preview of things to come. It's already very intimidating for me to begin with so it would be helpful if I felt welcomed and comforted. We'll see how the next appointment goes.

The ONLY crowns that have been a problem are the ones done by Dr. Parks. One crown was so terrible it was shredding floss - which I told him. He did some simple pushing on the crown edge and said I was fine. Fast forward: My tooth underneath became so damaged (food getting under the crown likely because the crown did not heave enough adhesive placed correctly - as well as a POORLY MADE CROWN THAT DR. PARKS MADE. So: I had to have the destroyed tooth extracted! The remaining crows have the same problem: made poorly. DO NOT GO HERE ! I would also recommend that where ever you go: ALWAYS use a place that sends 'out' to have crowns made so that a professional crown maker does them and then hope the attach the tooth correctly.

I needed extensive dental work and new teeth installed and after visiting an assortment of dentists and reviewing their treatment plans I decided to go with Dr Luke Park at West Seattle Dental. I am thrilled with my choice. He has exceeded all my expectations. Dr Park is the consummate professional. He can be working on three things at once but never rushes or gets flustered. He strives for perfection. At the same time he is constantly asking for patient feedback regarding their pain/comfort levels. I had one session that lasted for over 4 hours involving removing all my lower teeth. Dr Park could have muscled his way through it but instead he delicately handled each tooth extraction and never rushed. I did not have anesthesia but Dr Park made sure I was comfortable and indeed the proces

Do not let Dr Park work on you! I had been seeing Dr Park for years, getting exams at 6 month intervals during cleanings. Always praised for my self care and given healthy status. Then after they messed up my appointments, I switched to a different office for cleanings, and they found an infection Dr park had overlooked that caused me to have to endure an invasive and traumatic proceudre that left my mouth permantly scarred. Beware!

I've been going to WSDC for 24 years and it never occurred to me to leave a review until today. Over the past several years, my discomfort at dental work has increased. Leah, the hygienist, is an angel in human form. She is the kindest, friendliest, most caring person who could ever possibly put her fingers in your mouth. When I heard her voice behind me I blurted out "Oh thank God" and I had an actual tear in my eye knowing she would be taking care of me. And the whole time she was scraping away, I would feel her finger on my jaw and think "It's OK, it's Leah, I trust Leah." Dr. Park is great and all, but Leah deserves a raise.
