I rarely write reviews, but after what happened at this office yesterday, I feel compelled to share this for parents who are new to the practice. First, I want to say that my kids have seen Dr. Barbara in the past and we have had positive experiences with her. She has always seemed kind and attentive. My daughter recently had an appointment to receive vaccines required by her school. Last week we saw a nurse practitioner for one of them and everything went smoothly. Yesterday’s visit, however, felt very different. We saw Dr. Helen for what was supposed to be a simple vaccine appointment, but from the beginning it felt like there was strong pressure to administer as many vaccines as possible and a strong bias towards vaccines in general. I really like the doctors and the front desk staff, but I’ve had 2 interactions with the manager Heather and her lack of empathy is too much to continue bringing my daughter here. Coming in with a sick baby and being lied to that she’s left me multiple messages when I never received ONE is insane, and talking to someone like they’re a complete moron is just poor patient care. I truly save reviews for exceptional or horrendous situations, and this one is horrendous and hurtful.

So grateful we found this practice. The ladies at the front desk are all so kind, welcoming, and professional. The doctors are so knowledgeable and caring. All of them take their time answering questions and explaining things so you feel comfortable. I’ve never felt like I had a dumb question as a nervous first time mom. And the nurses!! They are incredibly responsive to calls and messages, they always get us an appt same day when I have a concern. Carolyn is exceptionally helpful and kind, she always has a smile on her face and is so comforting to me as a new mom.

We absolutely love our baby’s pediatrician! From the very first visit, the doctor has been patient, kind, and incredibly thorough. They always take the time to answer all of our questions (even the small ones) and never make us feel rushed. I highly recommend to all parents.

Took me two weeks and 10 calls to get a referral for physical therapy. On average takes me at least 3 calls to get a simple prescription refill send to my pharmacy. Very had to get in touch with them. My daughter had an upset stomach for a week to which they said - bring her in and her stool sample in two days if she is not better. Called (again took me three calls to get someone to talk to) , dropped by wit the stool sample, they refused to take a sample saying that we need to make an appointment for a stool sample. All that is to say, that a week and a half goes by and I can't even get as much as a stool sample check out - offered to pay out of pocket, was already physically there - refused to help.
