Above and beyond my expectations! I consider myself old-fashioned, and Dr. Giokas' office reflects that quality with its courteous and efficient service. Dr. Giokas diagnosed the cause of my big toe pain and discomfort, which is known as hallux rigidus, or stiff big toe. (a degenerative type of arthritis that affects the joint where the big toe meets the foot) To address the issue, Dr. Giokas administered a cortisone injection in my big toe and recommended that I purchase a pair of Hoka Bondi 9 shoes. Additionally, I should purchase a carbon fiber Morton's extension, available on Amazon, to place under the inner liner of my future Hoka Bondi 9 shoes. I’ve never been to this doctor before and I called her up a couple of days after Christmas kind of frantic about my toes with what I thought were ingrown toenails and blisters. She saw me within a couple of days and she was excellent. She explained exactly what was going on with my foot and it wasn’t nearly as bad as I thought it was at all. She spent so much time with me and was so very very patient. I loved her. I would use her anytime. I would recommend her absolutely to anybody who needs a great foot doctor. She is gracious and patient and extremely knowledgeable and I just absolutely loved her.

Dr. Giokas is extremely kind and helpful. She made me custom insoles for my shoes. It's helped my knees and leg pain. Highly recommend her!
