Love Dr. Montgomery! She has been wonderful for all of my cats. All of the vets and staff members I have interacted with here have been very helpful. They explain every service and answer all of my questions patiently. I dreaded having to hunt for a new vet when I moved here because it took me awhile to find one I liked in my last location. I heard about West End via word of mouth (always a good sign!) and have recommended them to everyone over the past two or so years I have been going here.

I have been taking my dog to West End Animal Hospital for many years, and I have always received excellent service, attention, and genuine dedication from the entire team. They truly care about their patients and treat them like family. Recently, my dog passed away, and during that very difficult time, the staff went above and beyond. They took exceptional care of him and showed incredible compassion and kindness toward us as a family. When the moment came to say goodbye, they made sure everything was handled with dignity, respect, and sensitivity, helping us feel as comfortable and supported as possible. I HIGHLY recommend taking your pet to west end animal hospital! Every single one of their vets are amazing at what they do and care for my pets like they are their own. I have 3 cats that see both Dr. Montgomery and Dr. Stevens as their primary veterinarian. My oldest cat was diagnosed with diabetes and Dr. Stevens was so helpful in educating my husband and I on how we can care for him and how to initiate treatment with insulin. She took such amazing care of him and he is now in remission and no longer needs insulin! Additionally my youngest kitten was extremely sick when he was 13 weeks old and ended up being hospitalized which was a really traumatizing event for my husband and I. Dr. Montgomery followed up with us immediately after his hospitalization given he still had an active infecti

Sixteen years after being rescued, my little Karen needed kitty heaven. I can’t say enough about the staff who helped us through a tough day! Dr. Montgomery is the kindest soul. She said all the right things, and Karen’s transition was quiet, calm and pain free. The Vet tech who did the paw prints and wrapped her so nicely is so appreciated too. I am sorry I forgot her name, it was an emotional day. Karen earned the “ sweetest kitty ever award “ at your clinic and she truly was a people lover. Are there 0 stars??? I transferred to this vet because I thought Banfield was bad, I was wrong! West End has it together administratively, but when it comes to empathy, compassion and care - they missed the boat. I called another vet, of which I was not a client, and received better assistance and less attitude. I called seeking assistance and compassion; I was level-headed and professional. The front desk individual was as helpful as she could be, The OFFICE MANAGER was not. I called Hilltop Vet and even though I was not a customer, they were extremely kind and helpful - that is my new vet!
