West Allis Memorial Hospital

This hospital provided top notch care for my 91 year old dad during hospitalization recently. The hospitalist that saw him was the most compassionate physician I have ever interacted with, and the rest of his care/care team was great. Rooms were clean and nurses responded quickly to calls. We came after interacting with a different healthcare system in town, and there was no comparison. We felt heard, involved, and well cared for once we got to Aurora West Allis.

This hospital on January 28 allowed a 60 year old confused disoriented man to leave against medical advice with no jacket he was sent to hospital from another medical facility because of his confusion and odd behavior this is the mans first time having this problem the hospital assured me that he was not going to be released they were informed of his issues and when he was last admitted and a hold was placed on him police have taken him to hospital in past west Allis was told this I tryed calling to talk to his nurse she refused to answer when I called but when he was leaving she called me he gave his nurse a name but it wasn't my name this nurse heard him become verbally abusive on the phone with me and this nurse had nerve to claim he can make desessions logically really but he didn't

Need to write new review cuz I can't find previous one I started and did not finish.i have new pain doctor who is dr Brad johnson who treated me today at wamh with righthip injection and rt si joint injection. He made the experience very tolerable. The procedure nurses were all very caring, helpful,and saw to it that I was comfortable at all time. I am going back to same place in 2 weeks to have injections for both knees. All I can say is I had great nurses today and a great experience there and put my faith in their hands for my next time there.

Recently had to be there for my grandmother, who passed. They were kind to her and our family. Nurses were polite made sure we had snacks and drinks there to be with her for the end. In the end she passed there, they allowed us the time to say our goodbyes no rushing. They offered sympathy. And almost two years prior I had my son in the woman's pavilion. Every nurse there was amazing, going from a natural birth to and emergency C-section. They made it less scary only down side is when they rushed me into surgery they forgot my sister to be in there with me. And when they brought her in was while they took out the organs. Otherwise everything was great both experience. Along with all the other emergency visits I had during pregnancy and prior.

On December 10, I walked into the ER with a dislocated left shoulder and in a lot of pain. I was seen quickly and was taken care very well. The nurse that took care of me was excellent, and Dr. Nussman is the best. After pain medication was given to me and finally Doc manipulated my shoulder back. I went to see my orthopedic doctor, X-rays were taken and the doctor said the shoulder placement was excellent! Thank you a million times!! Linda S.
