Weingarten, Phyllis, MD - Rockland iCare

When my regular ophthalmologist was stumped by my persistent double vision after cataract surgery, he sent me to an adult strabismus specialist, Dr. Weingarten. Because of a mixup, they didn't have me down for an appointment, but she kindly fit me in after a short wait. Once I was called in, she and another doctor spent around two hours dealing with my very complicated case. Throughout the visit, they were patient, thoughtful, and thorough. What a great experience. Today, I picked up my new glasses and for the first time in over a year I have no double vision. What a life changing moment! Her many awards are so well deserved. This office does not respond to emails and their voicemail is full. Receptionist was also rude and insists on a refraction fee being paid out of pocket when my insurance clearly states that they pay for it. Unfortunately we will never meet the doctor.

Dr Weingarten is very experienced and a nice person but her staff are all tough and totally not friendly. For Dr Weingarten I would rate 5 star but her staff totally doesn't deserve it. Hope I'll have a better experience next time

By far the best place to go, the doctors there are awesome and extremely nice. However the waiting room was a little too noisy and my wait was a little too long but not too bad. Thanks to all the wonderful doctors for all there help and for being so kind.

Awesome experience I’m going there today to see Dr. Noto MD. And I see Dr. Berizan MD. The elevators are nice, I think this building connects to Good Samaritan Hospital, and it has a directory, you can find places in the building, it’s 3 floors, the lobby is nice.
