I recently visited Marina Chernin, DDS at Ramapo Dental Care, and had an excellent experience from start to finish. Dr. Chernin was warm, patient, and incredibly knowledgeable. She took the time to explain everything clearly and made sure I was comfortable throughout the entire visit. The staff was friendly, the office was clean and modern, and I felt well taken care of. Okay, here’s my honest review for anyone considering this dental practice. I am extremely petrified of anything dental-related needles, drilling, anything related to dental. so if I’m saying good things, trust me, it’s real. I’m sure everyone at this practice is wonderful, but I had the pleasure of being treated by an all-star team. Michelle walked me through everything I needed with patience and made the entire process feel manageable. She also assisted Dr. Phillips, who handled my fillings with such care that I genuinely felt more at ease than I ever expected. Then there’s Jan, my dental hygienist, with over 40 years of experience. She gave me an immaculate cleaning honestly the best I’ve ever had. My wife and I had our teeth cleaned today by Hyon Goodman, and we can honestly say she’s the best dental hygienist we’ve ever had. From the moment we sat in her chair, she was incredibly kind, professional, and thorough. She took the time to explain everything, made us both feel completely comfortable, and her gentle touch made the whole experience surprisingly enjoyable. We’ve been to many dentists and hygienists over the years, but Hyon truly stands out for her skill, attention to detail, and genuine care for her patients. I had my first appt today at Ramapo Dental and had a very enjoyable experience! (says a lot coming from someone who's been traumatized by other dentists in the past) The ladies at the front desk were all very warm, welcoming and helpful. My hygienist, Dr. Goodman, was the sweetest and as gentle as could be and also very informative. I highly recommend them and I think I've found my new permanent dental office!
