Dr. Golden said she only practices "science based medicine" but in my experience that means "only pharmaceutical based medicine". Cannot help you if you already live an active life and have a good diet. The only option I was offered was to take drugs which was a horrible experience. They made each day horrible and caused significant side affects which caused other medical issues. When I complained of these issues I was not told they were known side affects of the drugs. I found that through doing research myself. When I found this out I stopped the drugs, told Dr. Golden this, and stopped seeing her. Dr Golden and her team are the best! I went to Dr Golden under the recommendation of my Orthopedic Dr because I needed help losing weight so I could have my hip surgery. I was nervous about seeing her and once I did it was the best thing ever her guidance and support led me to having my hip surgery. I haven't reached my goal yet but I know Dr Golden and her team will get me there. I highly recommend Dr Golden and Weight In Gold.

I have been with Weight & Gold for almost 6 months, I live fairly far from the clinic but will travel or do telemed when needed in order to keep coming. The clinic is well organized and very on top with their services everytime. There is always open communication if you have follow up questions. Every interaction with Dr. Golden has been pleasant, informative and empathetic. Not only does she give her patients reinsurance and grace, but she helps you look at being healthy in a different way than I have ever had with any other doctors. The journey of weight loss always has ups and downs. Today I was scheduled in for an appointment with Dr. Golden where I was concerned about weighing in and not being where I wanted to be. I was so tempted to skip my appointment today, but something told me to just power through. As usual, my time with Dr. Golden brought new insights in my journey, suggestions and understanding of the ups and downs that we all face. She is so encouraging, and every time empowers me to learn more about myself and clarity about my struggle with weight loss. I’m so grateful to have Dr. Golden on my team!!
