Washington Dental Clinic

Before getting work done here, be sure to confirm they are in your insurance network, else you might get stuck with a $300 bill like I was. Apparently it’s not enough to just ask if they take your insurance, which I did over the phone and in person before a routine visit. Also had a very uncomfortable experience with the dental hygienist wildly spraying my lips each time he rinsed my mouth, then completely covering my mouth with his hand each time he had to use the suction tool. Will not be returning here.

I've really enjoyed going to Washington Dental Clinic the past 4 years in Seattle. Ms. Tandi at the front desk has been very kind and helpful, walking me through payments and process. Dr. Kelley Washington has been very gentle and more thorough with cleanings than other dentists I've seen. She gave me brushing suggestions and told me places I was missing, something I hadn't heard from other dentists who apparently didn't see my plaque. Office has a warm neighborhood feeling (with mostly POC dentists and hygienists--I felt very comfortable. It was also good to support a Black dentist owned practice especially when the neighborhood and city is getting so gentrified), unlike some places I've been to that have felt sterile, formal, and unwelcoming. And I usually hate going to the dentist. High

The staff here is very friendly and dedicated to keeping teeth clean and healthy. I really appreciate the comfortable atmosphere they've created. I've been twice now and each time they've been kind, prompt, and very thorough. However, they charge more than my insurance wants to pay for a cleaning.

This has been the most wonderful experience I have ever had at the dentist. I have had a phobia of the dentist since kindergarten lol. Dr. Washington (an African American dentist) was absolutely wonderful. She was knowledgeable attentive caring and patient and surprisingly affordable. Dr. Washington quickly generated a plan to clean all 4 regions of my chops referred me to an amazing oral surgeon to extract all my horrible wisdom teeth and has me on track to complete dental health. I’ve avoided the dentist for 20 years smh I’m now coming to my appointments excited to get it together. She’s even replacing my metal fillings so I can have a fly smile lol. Thank you so much Dr. Washington your patient for life I’m bringing everybody lol

I would normally give five stars because Like the dental service. My experience today was not good I had a 4pm appt. Waited 45mins. Asked about my appt. time because it was 4:15 I was told i would be next she even put my file at the top. She was talking with somebody she was familiar with who came in after me. Maybe y'all double book? When the male worker came from the back she took his file from the bottom and allowed him to go before me. I believe she allowed him to go before me so i left😒
