Would love to give this place a negative star value. The nurses at the front desk were kind, but once I was let into the back, the nurse who took notes on my symptoms did not write everything down and rushed the entire process so she could move on to the next person. Finally the doctor came in and instead of actually giving me an examination he just read the poorly written notes from the nurse and decided to just randomly diagnose me with something. Told me I had an upper respiratory infection. I basically laughed at him when he said it cause I didn't have any of the symptoms related to it. He prescribed me an antibiotic that lasted 10 days and told me I would start feeling better within a day. Well... turns out what I really had was strep throat and mono. I have been to CVFP probably 4 times within the past 6 months or so, each time basically because of convenience, and I could honestly write a 0 star review for each time i've been, but let me just tell you all about the most recent visit. About a week ago I went into CVFP and there were two other people in the waiting room so I had hoped to be seen within 30 minutes or so at worst. As soon as I approached the desk and told them my name looked me up in their system, alerted me that I had about $100 in "collections" which I did not know, because I have gone through insurance each time I have been. Visited the new location for the first time yesterday. The entire staff was fantastic! Very friendly front desk staff, the nurse was wonderful - took her time, asked lots of questions, and was completely engaged. When the doctor came in, she greeted me by name, introduced herself and began asking detailed questions regarding my visit. She listened closely, and once again - she was very engaged. Would absolutely recommend this office!

Carrie McKinney NP, if I could give 0 stars I would. I have never had an experience like this before. The NP that I saw was the most condescending and dismissive nurse I have ever met. Before even looking at me she diagnosed me from notes of the previous doctor. She was unwilling to listen to patients concerns and was more worried about the fact that I went to the doctor twice in one day than finding out what was wrong with me. The first thing she said to me was "You were already seen by your primary care provider, we're not supposed to see you twice" in a very snarky tone. I tried to tell her my symptoms and concerns and she said "Im not going to argue with you." Waited over 2 hours even after checking in online. The doctor was incredibly rude and rushed through the check up. She ordered a ton of tests without telling me what they are all for or how much they would cost (I had asked for specific tests and they did way more than those). Was told they would call with test results, but I had to call twice only to be told they were sent via mail. When I received the results, they had called for the wrong tests AND read the results incorrectly (I had a second opinion). On top of all this, they billed my insurance incorrectly, so I have had to deal with the insurance nightmare. I am never coming back to CVFP...worst experience!
