The pharmacy here is severely understaffed, and not well trained at all. Every time I think it’s fine to swing by for the convenient location, I immediately regret it. Expect to wait an hour or more for things like new medications, vaccines, or even just asking a simple question to the pharmacist. It’s definitely worth the 5-10 minute drive to get to ANY other Walgreens location.

We typically utilize the Walgreens on Braun and 1604, who possess an excellent team who has repeatedly shown their commitment to patient care, but I have needed to switch prescriptions to this pharmacy location 3 times because the other location/s closed too early for me. Each of the 3 instances required the team at this location to take extra steps to request or verify and fill the medication. Each time, they came through quickly and professionally. I'm very grateful, because while all of these experiences were very fraught, one of these instances happened after a pediatric ER visit during one my husband's deployment at a time when our finance cards were being constantly denied due to "suspected fraud" in another country. My son suddenly came down with a painful earache, and as most parents know, it always seems to happen after hours when many pharmacies are shutting down. We were given a paper prescription and referred to this Walgreens location. The drive-through line was very long, so I went inside with my sick and very sleepy 9-year-old. Thankfully, Tita was working that night. She handled both the busy drive-through and the inside line with such care and professionalism. Even though they were clearly busy, she filled our prescription as quickly as possible and stayed kind and attentive the entire time. When she handed over the medication, she said, “I hope he feels better.” That simple kindness meant so much. When your child is sick, it helps to know someone else cares too. Waited 40 min on the phone just to speak to technician. When a technician finally answered she found it difficult to find my profile because she did not have time to help me because they were “busy”. I found this so disrespectful and rude. I understand pharmacy gets busy. I myself have worked at a Walgreens pharmacy. However, I never told a customer that I can’t helped them because it takes to long to look throughout their profile.

Long lines, calloused careless pharmacy employees. Getting a simple prescription from them will take up to minimum of 2-3 hours out of your day. MAKE SURE TO REVIEW YOUR MEDS BEFORE YOU LEAVE. They do not bother doing it themselves (not sure what the purpose of a pharmacist is). They sold me something for 48$ when it should've been 8$! Changing my pharmacy asap!
