Walgreens Pharmacy

This Walgreens is AWFUL for filling prescriptions. I will get notice that I have a refill being processed and will wait days and when I call they tell me they don’t have it in stock and I have to wait additional days after already giving them time to fill the order. The people behind the counter are unfriendly and not wanting to help in anyway and give you an unnecessary attitude when you ask for your prescription to be filled after it was requested DAYS ago and already approved!! After waiting on hold for 30+ minutes I finally get a response that they will fill my prescription today. This is not a rare occurrence and has happened any time I need a refill on both of my medications.

I do not recommend this Walgreens pharmacy. Called for a question about a medication. Whoever answered the phone was incredibly rude and impatient. I’ve also picked up prescriptions here before (out of necessity not because I like this pharmacy.) Every time there is a wait, if they even have the prescription at all. It could be days of waiting for a fill, after being told 10 minute here, come back and now it’s an hour. The techs are not friendly. No greeting. No acknowledgment. Most times they are rude. I could deal with the wait if they weren’t so rude, as if the customers are an inconvenience. Again, I don’t recommend.

Absolutely ridiculous service for quite some time but today took the cake. After telling me they would be right with me at the drive thru, I sat there for 13 minutes. Then the girl finally came back only to say that she couldn’t help me unless I came inside because they were having a flu clinic and were short staffed. I could see how long the line was inside. I don’t have time for this. All I needed to do was pick up 2 prescriptions with Express pay. I am tired of all the “short staffed” excuses everywhere. Additionally, my daughter is a licensed Pharmacy Tech and she applied there weeks ago with no response. I have been coming to this pharmacy for years but the last two years have been atrocious all the way around.

Absolutely horrible when it comes to comforting scared children. Very cold and rushed attitude by the pharmacist that administers the vaccinations. Kept repeating I can’t give I’m the shot if he doesn’t calm down which made it even worse. My son asked to see the needle to help with his anxiety and the gentleman just laughed and just kept repeating if you don’t seat down I won’t be giving you the shot which my son can feel he was getting irritated and made him feel even worse l. No one once of understanding just cold and rude. I will not be bringing my children here and I advise other parents to choose somewhere else if your child has a slight anxiety with vaccinations. My son did not end up getting his booster due to his anxiety and panic. They are NOT kid friendly AT ALL.

This is the second time this has happened to me, when I called on two different occasions.... I called, got put on hold for 10 minutes... Someone at the pharmacy picked the phone up and set it off to the side, I waited another few minutes just to have them hang the phone up on me.. I'd rather go to the DMV at 3:00 on a weekday than ever deal with this pharmacy again.
