They don't keep high enough stock on medications like antidepressants that can cause brain damage if you suddenly stop taking it. For phone calls I frequently end up on hold for forty plus minutes even with no callers ahead of me (which the automated message updates you on) for questions that require a human. I'll have medications sent in for refills that they don't actually fill until I ask for it when it's sent in by the prescriber to be filled asap. I think they're severely understaffed for the amount of people they need to service, so it's less a problem of staff and more an issue of regional management. The people who work here are epic. Reason for lower rating is because some items I like to get are not in stock very often.

I live in Woburn and frequently go to pick up medications for my family. Connie is always kind and attentive—she always explains how to use the medications and is always very polite and efficient! I'm very happy to have such great service close to home.

Very knowledgeable pharmacy staff. Floor staff not so good. When I came in a plastic bag was in the middle of the floor by register and frozen case. There were 2 employees standing near it talking non work issue. I got my Rx and asked a few questions at pharmacy then walked out. The bag was still in the middle of the floor, untouched by the gabby staff! How much are slip trip issues in court these days?

Bad experience with filling my son’s prescription. Workers couldn’t seem to fill scripts through Express Scripts. When trying to contact the store I was on the phone for 30+ minutes without anyone coming to the phone. At this point I knew this isn’t the experience I wanted for myself, as quickly as I had my son’s scripts transferred to them 2 days prior I quickly made the decision to have my scripts quickly transferred back to CVS! Guess what CVS filled the scripts with the same insurance that they couldn’t process information for prior. Walgreens the system was either down or the company should look into more training for your employees.What a 48hr nightmare w/Walgreens.
