Walgreens Pharmacy

If I could give this Walgreens a zero, I definitely would. I had a very disappointing experience with the pharmacy. We have been waiting five days for my daughter’s ointment, and it has been extremely frustrating trying to get clear answers about when it will be ready. The wait times are much longer than expected, and communication has not been helpful or reassuring. When it comes to medications, especially for a child, timeliness and proper updates are very important. I hope this location can improve its organization, communication, and overall level of care for customers.

PHARMACY EMPLOYEE SAID I CALLED HER A BAD WORD... BUT I GOT IT ALL ON RECORDING!! Walgreens said they would contact me about this, but ... nothing! I once was happy with Walgreens,.. but then...... I went to the drive-thru to pickup my scripts, when asked for my personal info to verify who I am, the girl kept cutting me off before I could finish my phone number, address, etc.. then when she told me the amount (over $150) and I explained that couldnt be right, it was just a few days worth to bridge my meds until my mail order prescriptions arrived. The girl sighed and rolled her eyes. Yes but it would cost more for the fewer pills because they would have to open a package.... she added While I was trying to explain that my doctor had already confirmed with both the insurance and Walgreens

Once again I was forced to leave a smaller locally owned pharmacy due to express scripts stripping veterans of better prescription care. I am to use Walgreens in my small hometown. I have 3 prescriptions filled here. I am again standing in a line for half my Scripts. Sometimes I go a month wo that 3rd script. Then everyone suffers besides me. I don't understand how I, can go next door to the small locally owned and not have a problem getting my scripts on time which was the 1st of the month. Here I am getting them on the 15th. Walgreens doesn't care. Your just a number with a wallet here. No genuine care for its patrons.

Refused to fill a hormone prescription for Hormone Therapy because the pharmacist wanted to know what my diagnosis is and why I was receiving hormone therapy. Even though I was paying cash for my prescription. The tech answering the phone proceeded to lie (her word) to me and then my husband (two different phone calls) about why they couldn't fill the prescription for me. Even blaming Mercy. She ended up calling me 10mins before my husband was to go pick up my prescription to tell me she lied to my husband about it being a insurance cash misunderstanding. So ladies (and I say ladies because my husband has never had issues getting his HRT from Walgreens) with hormone issues steer clear of this pharmacy.

Nothing but headaches since changing to this pharmacy. It took 3.5 hours of waiting to straighten out my prescription for name brand medication and not the generic. Was handed a bottle of the generic 3 times in the same day and had to keep handing it back and waiting while they tried to straighten it out. Now this month, I have been waiting for 2 days for my prescriptions to be ready. Yesterday they said it would be ready today and now they're saying it won't be ready until tomorrow. I am now out of medication and still waiting.
