Walgreens Pharmacy

The reviews for this place are accurate. The staff is lacking management. I had an old prescription in the system, at a different dosage, and another medication called in by my doctor. One is deemed a controlled substance, so it needs a prescription called in every time. They deleted that prescription, not the duplicate, by accident. When I asked them how that happens, the pharmacist replies that the drugs sound very similar, and it probably happened because of that. THAT IS SO WRONG!! They are dispensing drugs that can kill you, and that is their response. Then they told me that they would send a request for the doctor to re call the prescription. Had a prescription called into the pharmacy and went to pick it up 2 hours later. Waited in line for 20 minutes and told they did not have a prescription in my name. Went outside and called my provider-- confirmed that they called it in and left it on the pharmacy's voicemail. Waited in line for another 20 minutes and was told that they were too busy to check their voicemail-- they would check their voicemail when they weren't busy. Sat and waited. 40 minutes later, they still are too busy to check their voicemail and retrieve my prescription. I have been in the store for almost an hour and a half-- they will only service customers with scripts in hand or picking up prescriptions already filled. As all other posts seem to indicate, this pharmacy is dysfunctional. Went there for a COVID test. Waited 25 minutes, which I was okay with as there were 4 people getting prescriptions in front of us. That can take some time. When we got up to the drive through window, an employee spent 5 minutes trying to find our registration. I provided the confirmation number and email. They said they found it but needed time to prep it and asked us to drive around to the back of the line. We did so and after 1 hour 5 minutes we were done.

If I could give negative points I could. Pharmacist know medicine is important especially as I’m with child right now. They have given me wrong information and wrong predictions. They have no need for customer service as they know we need our medication and they do not have to help us they can deny us service or just not check if they have it and say they don’t. Ive had a pharmacist check my medication by exactly what it is tell me it’s ready it’s amount over two hundred to get someone drive out for it to be the wrong rx I can’t take while pregnant and not two hundred dollars. I’ve gone here years as I am a thirty minute ride from stores and wasted so much gas and time and been without medication so much as they do not help at all or give correct information. It's a rare occasion when you can get a prescription filled without a problem at this location. If you need to call the pharmacy for any reason you can expect to wait at least 20 minutes to speak to someone. Bring your patience, you're gonna need it.
