We have been with this vet for over 20 years, and they have been wonderful. We love Dr. Johnson! She has always been caring and compassionate in guiding us through the care of our cats.

Animal clinic of La Plata saved our dog's life! Our dog Atlas was swelling up due to an allergic reaction of some kind with trouble breathing. My husband was on the way to the emergency vet but that was going to add 20 extra minutes to the drive. Our dog was in the back seat on the verge of losing consciousness and having labored breathing, so in a panic while passing by, he stopped at animal clinic. Animal clinic saw him right away and all of the staff were so pleasant the entire interaction even though we of course did not have an appointment and should not have just shown up. They were so understanding with us and sweet to our dog. We are so appreciative! Animal clinic also did both of our dog's neutering surgeries and everything went very smoothly. Highly recommend!
