Walgreens Pharmacy

0/5 absolutely do NOT recommend using this pharmacy. They told me I could not pay out of pocket for my son's pain medication because of the type of insurance he has. I drove all the way from Anacortes while he was in surgery to make sure he had them. I then called Anacortes Walgreens and they said paying out of pocket was not a problem with his insurance. Burlington Walgreens need to be trained correctly and not give false information. Unbelievable.

I’ve had extremely frustrating experiences with the pharmacy here. On multiple occasions I’ve received a text saying a prescription was ready, driven all the way to the store, waited in line, and then been told it actually isn’t ready and that I need to come back another day. This is especially concerning when the prescriptions are antibiotics or medications that are needed right away. When someone is sick or trying to treat an infection quickly, being told to return another day after receiving a “ready” notification is incredibly inconvenient and stressful. The pharmacy seems very disorganized, and the communication between their system and what is actually ready behind the counter does not appear to match. Staff have not been particularly helpful in resolving the issue when it happens.

Horrible customer service. Everyone is rude. Prescriptions never ready. Only gave 1/2 prescriptions to my father. When I called and asked why he wasn’t given both she said “I’m sorry I didn’t look at what I handed him” “I thought I gave him the narcotics, I was wondering why it didn’t ask for ID.” She also brushed my dad off because he “can’t talk” and he just kept waving his arms. He can speak, it just takes effort to understand him because of a tracheostomy. How does the PHARMACIST not look at what she’s handing over? Will be transferring immediately.

3 different times they said the same rx would be done in a little bit. Having to leave i figured the next day it would be done. It never was. Oh and they called my kid a drug addict when a doctor prescribed a 1 time 1 dose prescription. Funny enough turns out they are highly allergic and had to be treated. So yeah.

Wish I could give a 0. Very rude, their phone system is a pain to speak to someone, they hang up on you, they ordered the wrong medication, I had to call to have them fix cause I noticed it was wrong online, they tell me they will order right one and will be ready x day, I gave them a extra day even and call cause it still says in progress and they didn't even order. No apologies no offer to help call around and make it right nothing. They didn't fill the correct dosage on my husbands rx even tho doctors notes on rx had it spelled out. Etc.
