PerioNW strongly recommended I have a very costly procedure done right away but, thankfully, I received a second opinion and learned the treatment wasn't critical at all! The front desk staff was rude & when I brought my grievance to the owner, she was just as rude -- if not MORE rude! Horrible experience.

As soon as I scheduled my first appointment with Dr. Jan, I knew I’d made the right decision for my care. The front office staff members at PerioNW are very knowledgeable and are so supportive during each phone call and every visit. Dr. Jan addressed all my concerns and has the wisdom and resources to offer real solutions I didn’t know were possible. My initial treatment was handled promptly and smoothly with no pain, no anxiety, and results that exceeded my expectations. She’s kind and genuine, and I feel so at ease communicating my worries and questions with Dr. Jan and her assistant. Dr. Jan has been a great trusted dentist for me... She has been treating me for the last five to six years. Installed three to four implants, and this year I totally moved my cleaning of my teeth to her practice. Frankly, I have difficulty trusting anybody else.. The initial consult went well, but I regret moving forward. I was too conscious during the gum surgery and in severe pain throughout. The goal was to fix recession, and my dentist agrees the surgery did not resolve this in multiple areas. Dr. Miesel saw this as well and offered to discuss a second surgery, but the first one was too painful to go through it again. The team spoke with my insurance prior to the surgery, gave the good news about what was being covered, and I paid my bill on the surgery day. They verbally communicated again that insurance was covering the rest and said to ignore any denied letters. Five months after surgery, I was sent a surprise significant bill from Dr. Miesel’s team. Absolutely wonderful experience in every way! I had too much fun laughing with each of them, from the minute I checked in, to the moment I was walking out of the office. Extremely knowledgeable and professional, the latest technology in equipment, and all around amazing team! I am so excited for my next visit!
