If I could do less than 1 star I would. Walgreens took a perfectly lovely local pharmacy and destroyed it. Between myself and the doctor's office we have been on hold over an hour trying to get someone to answer the phone. They can't keep employees so they randomly close. It got to where I only used them for short term meds, but this last experience was the final straw. I am done with them. I would rather go out of my way to get ANY other pharmacy than deal with them!

Horrible pharmacy. For last 2 days, this pharmacy has been completely shut down. No signs, no nothing. I had prescriptions I needed to pick up and went up there twice and each time this place was closed. I later called Walgreens main customer service line to complain and asked them why nobody was there. They advised the main pharmacist was out sick and that was the reason it was closed . Seriously? So people need their prescriptions and there's no back up plan to keep this place open if the pharmacist is not there? Completely unacceptable. I am moving all of my prescriptions out of this poorly run place.

Im truly amazed how the Walgreens @ Super 1 in Jacksonville, Tx manages to keep their doors open. Now with that set, its not like they are open 24/7 or even long hour days. Im not even sure why they have shelves in this location. I personally have had three prescriptions placed in the last week that I have yet to get from this location. Every one has had to be ordered. Two of those was placed for filling a week ago ( May 21, 2025) still no meds. Today one was called in had to be ordered. Would not be able to get it till next week. This is so unacceptable.

While the customer service isn’t too bad (slow, but friendly overall), the hours are horrendous. I’ve gone there twice now to pick up script for myself & they’ve randomly been closed during business hours - and no, not during lunch break. I don’t know how they can manage to stay on business. They’ve also been out of my husbands script several times & he’s had to travel an hour to the next Walgreens that had it. Our insurance doesn’t take anything other than Walgreens, so we’re unfortunately stuck. But transferring to Lufkin, it’s a long drive, but at least it they’ll be OPEN when they’re supposed to be! And their hours in general are just better, longer & open 7 days a week! The hours at this place is 6 days a week (most of the time less) and they close much earlier than any other pharmacy

Walgreens used to be the best but once they closed the Walgreens location in Jacksonville, Tx and relocated the store in a Super 1 grocery store then due to several reasons now they are the Worst. Reasons due to them saying they can full fill the order then get there and they cannot, drove all the way into town they were closed at 4:50 PM, supposed to close at 6. Now after 3 days trying to get my pain medication I called to ensure they are open, they said they are closing again at 1:30PM. Have to drive myself to pick up pain meds after I had a major surgery. This is unacceptable and they should be ashamed and shut down this location!! Changing to CVS, goodbye Walgreens!!!!
