Wadsworth Pointe

I toured the building while looking for placement for my dad, facility was clean, staff was friendly and overall I was pleased with everything offered and all interactions while there. My dad ended up being able to come home straight from the hospital, but I would’ve placed him here without a doubt!

Just a bit of a personal review, Wadsworth Pointe definitely needs to be re-evaluated. My grandmother has had overall pretty terrible care so far. On 1/6/26 she was forced to wear a soiled Depends for 4 hours in the morning because they refused to change her until after breakfast. The food has mostly been cold, too salty, or too greasy (sometimes all of the above). Showers have been uncomfortable because the temp flip-flips between super hot and freezing cold. They don't keep up with cleaning the rooms regularly. Have been trying for the last 3 days to get ahold of her social worker there with no success. The pants she came in with are just gone now, apparently clothes are supposed to be labled for ownership but they didn't bother to check if there was a label or try to write on the tag in

I selected Wadsworth Pointe for my dad's recovery after surgery based on the state rating. I should have toured it first. 1. The first thing we noticed when entering the building was the smell. Urine, I think. The building is dated, and isnt clean. The rooms are small and the furniture in them is beat up. The day he was admitted he told them he needed a different bed. It was too short and leaned to the side. He finally got a different bed the day before he was discharged. My father complained about the food, having to wait on meds, requests for drinks being ignored. They didn't bother to do even the basic things he needed. My mother-in-law was sent to Wadsworth Pointe for rehab after a fall& hip/femur surgery. Because of the critical first weeks of recovery being botched by this facility we are still trying to correct what they caused even 3 months later ! She was transferred from the hospital to Wadsworth Pointe on New Year’s Day. We immediately made the drive to get her settled in and check out the facility. We live 2 hours away and only able to be there in person twice a week. But,we were in contact with her by phone several times per day.The room was FILTHY! Dirty beds,dirty floor,stains all over the carpet! The smell of urine! The bathroom was not cleaned! She was left alone in her room not seeing a nurse or aide for hours at a time.She was only assisted to the bathroom twice her entire stay. They left

Update Nov 13, 2025: I am removing my relative from this facility. The staffing issue has gotten worse. There is something seriously wrong when entire departments quit on the same day! The environment here is so depressing. This nursing home does not help people recover at all. My relative has gotten much worse since being in here. I’m sorry it took this long to realize the systemic issues of this company and the toxic environment. Original review, 4 months earlier: This facility has serious staffing issues. The people working there are great but they are so understaffed that patients are suffering from lack of PT and general care. Having PT three times a week and staying in bed the rest of the time is not helping with recovery. Lunch has not been delivered until 1:30pm then dinner comes e
