Thank you to Alaina who explained products and showed my Mother and I some HD magnifiers that could help her with reading. She also repaired and adjusted mom's reading glasses at no charge. Alaina's kindness and empathy made the visit a very positive experience.

Wonderful experience with my father. Dr Lad provided excellent advice on simple measures to improve his reading as well as Rx for reading glasses. He also purchased a lighted magnifying glass which he used to read the mail as soon as we got home and remarked, "Oh this is wonderful!" She shared with him and us what he actually can see to make better decisions regarding safety in the home and driving. Thank you Dr Lad!

The told my 83 year old (legal blind )mother that the appointment would be covered under Medicare. Halfway through the exam she was informed she would owe 60 dollars out of pocket. Also informed that it would be 1 or 2 months until due. She was called 2 days later and informed it was due now. NOT COOL.

Bought a reading aid for my father in law one year ago. It stopped working 2 ½ weeks ago. Has been sitting at the shop OR at repair shop And we cannot get a date of when it will be back. Call the shop to get a recording that takes me to another recording. He LIVES for reading and is feeling pretty isolated without it. Update: Thanks for your response. That was a coupleof yearsago ..... Sadly he has now passed away. The good news is right after I posted my review we went by the store and got things sorted out with a new unit and he used it up until shortly before his death.

Great place for people with macular. My husband spent $200. for special glasses to watch his sports. Yesterday they broke so we took them in to see if they can be repaired.........no repair but they gave him a brand new pair! 😁 no charge! We have had great customer care here, he has purchased other items to help with his vision issues also.
