Dr. Sandvik has been my dentist for over ten years. He has expertly cared for my challenges including cleaning and maintaining my teeth even while carefully adding crowns as needed. Dr. Sandvik is very particular about the quality of his work! Thank Goodness! Dr. Sandvik has won many awards over the years because of the overall excellence of his practice. I trust him and his entire team to provide high quality patient care, supportive education on procedures, and guidance on how to navigate treatment options so I feel less adrift or overwhelmed by choices. I was grateful to be able to find an amazing dental care in the area! The lady at the front desk cheerfully greeted me. Dr Sandvik genuinely cared for his patient and he’s willing to spend more than a 3 min that my typical dentists in the past would do. He’s really thorough and wanted to understand my condition very well. I was impressed by how much time and care I received from Dr Sandvik. For reference, my past experience with dentists was always just to see them for a brief few seconds while they touched my teeth with the tool a few times and walked away. But you’d expect Dr Sandvik to actually understand the health of your teeth and gum overall. I’d recommend this place to anyone!

What makes Desert Shores amazing is the people. From the front office, to the hygienists, to Dr Sandvik himself … one constant is amazing people. It’s hard to look forward to the dentist but the people sure make the visit a lot more pleasant. I am also 100% confident in Dr. Sandviks work and his recommendations. He’s a fantastic dentist. And if you have an emergency or need an after hours issue he is always there for you. 5 stars.

I had to swap dentist because my other dentist closed his practice after 10 years with him. I was hesitant at first but figured I could go somewhere closer to my home and had driven by this office everyday. From booking the appointment to the full care of my initial visit with the hygienist Mary and the doctor, it was very pleasant experience. The doctor, hygienist, and front office staff were very kind and considerate the whole time. Excited to have them as my new dental team!
