Victoria Adult Family Home

Victoria 1 was a blessing for our mom and a relief for us as her children. We moved mom from an Assisted Living facility to Victoria 1 as she needed 24/7 individual care. We were not disappointed in the care our mom received. She was treated like family and received the best possible care by the experienced and dedicated caregivers. Mom had dementia. The caregivers still treated her with respect and dignity. Communication was excellent. We were always kept informed on her health and felt supported by them. They provided a welcoming environment for our mom's grandchildren and great grandchildren. Our mom would still be living at Victoria 1 and under their care but cancer put an end to that. We had been very pleased to see the level of care and compassion they had for their residents that they care of, and the smells from the kitchen we had been experiencing when we been working in their house, had been a real challenge for us, due to the very good flavors ;) Very happy to see this good level of care being provided to the senior people of our community 😀 👍

My mom received wonderful kind care at Victoria 1 Adult Family Home. My mom entered Maria's (owner) care in the fall of 2022 with moderate to late stage dementia. This was a really hard move for her - she previously lived with my father. Maria made the transition as kind and safe as possible for my mom and as transparent and gentle as she could for me. She and her caregivers adapted quickly to my mom's changing needs, always supported her getting out into the world, and keeping her moving. My mom's dementia progressed rather quickly (common at her stage and also after a move) and I always felt that Maria kept me in the know and ensured my mom felt safe and loved. I know loved is a big word for a paid caregiver but I genuinely believe Maria appreciated and cared for my mom as a person

Victoria Adult Family Home is a warm and welcoming place. The staff are kind, attentive, and provide excellent care. Highly recommend!

I moved my Mom in the Victoria AFH, at first because it was close to where I lived. As my mom’s condition progressively got worse, I was so grateful for Maria and her team for taking care of my mom. I was 100% happy with the care she received. The AFH is very, very clean and the staff very professional, understanding, and helpful. I would highly recommend putting your aging parents in Maria’s care.
