VA hospital & Medical Center Emergency Room

I will start with the one good thing. The surgeon was amazing! However, my family member had a terrible experience recovering in patient after surgery. The staff communication was terrible and they were dismissive of the doctor orders. Way too small of space for patients with 4 people in a small room and the nurses are taking up the hallways with their carts. Ear plugs were the solution for the patient instead of a quieter environment. Not enough space for safety. You couldn’t even get a walker through to the shared patient bathroom. I was very disappointed in the 3rd floor in patient area and care. The staff called on walkie talkies and then nobody ever answered them. The emergency room staff was very professional and friendly. I was in the waiting room for a very short time before the triage nurse called my name. I was in and out within an hour which is rare while visiting any emergency room. Thanks again to the staff for the much needed care while visiting Phoenix.

Nice staff. But the most disorganized hospital I've ever been in. Suppose to be discharged yesterday, but kept overnight. Now after complaining, they're doing something now that too late.. Omg! Just like the government, get rid the best personal and keeping the worst.

I am a Caregiver & recently accompanied my Client. Everyone was So Wonderful, kind, helpful, & Smiles from ear-to-ear around the whole building! From the DR.'s to the funny kitchen staff, the vibes are great! It felt good to walk around & have so many people say "Hi" or chat me up like we were old friends.. The world is a harsh place & if we all spread this VA-Vibe the world will be a better place! 100% looking forward to our next visit <3 God Bless this Facility, All Employees & Our Amazing Vets!!! This medical center has State of the art medical equipment for veterans of all the armed forces. Specialty and urgent care physicians and lab services are all available in one location. Appointments are almost always on time. Patient care is exceptional.
