I really don’t think there are enough stars in the survey to be able to give the University of Washington Medical Center a proper review! Every team member in every department that we visited from ER to neurology and radiology were so fantastic in check-ins, coordinating insurance and schedules, and communication. And even more impressive was their thoroughness. Each doctor and doctor’s assistant came into our rooms at every visit already having read all the documentation which also reflects extremely high scores on the doctors and nursing teams that met with my dad to WRITE the notes. Their notes were spot on, and every team member took the time to study them before meeting with my dad. Even in the ER! They read his notes from Yakima’s Multi-Care during his treatment. In each department,

I honestly love this hospital and they’ve done three surgeries for my mother since November 2025. Two for neurology and one for a hernia. This time though I’m left so defeated. I felt like my mom was pushed out to her rehab facility way too quickly. They could have waited for a week day but instead sent her out today and the facility she was sent to wasn’t equipped to handle any issues (my mom can’t walk at all and uses a purewick which they don’t supply, also they can’t put up bed braces on the side till she sees PT who isn’t there till Monday). I wish they would have went through a checklist of needs to be met before sending her out. Now I’m leaving her rehab facility in tears because she was pushed out too soon.

I had a great phone call with a person. Her name was Mary with an I, aside from the joke Mari was extremely helpful with setting up a telemedicine appoitment along with getting my prescriptions realigned with my current neurologist. Long story short, did everything I should've done. And for that i'am very grateful. Thanks Mari have a great Valentine's Day🙂

Dr. Oakley was easily one of the most genuinely caring, exceptionally intelligent, best-researched physicians I've seen. He was detail-oriented and unhurried in our appointment, and he's passionate about building more autonomic neurology infrastructure and excellence in Seattle. I was inspired and glad to meet him.

I have gone to many good Doctors in the past at U of W. I was referred to UW Neurology about a muscle condition last June. I was told they were so busy it could be 4 mos.wait to get in. Walking is getting painful and difficult. I waited, calling twice a month to check on the referral, though the 4 months. Finally in Oct. it had been the 4 months. I recieved a message that my records would be reviewed and I would be contacted. Never heard back. A month later I contacted a Neuro. specialist at another medical group. I have seen them. Very kind and certainly more quick and caring.
