UVA Health Imaging Haymarket Medical Center

I called Central scheduling and they rapidly got me an appointment with Haymarket imaging(normally I go to Prince William Hospital center, but they were booked far out and it’s understandable) I had a wonderful experience. I checked in at 9 AM and Miss Genesis at the reception desk was very kind and very efficient. I was taken back promptly on time and given a very soft white gown to put on, no paper crispy gowns in this facility. Next, Miss Belinda took me in and did my Imaging. She was very kind and compassionate, and patiently listened to all of my concerns. After she did a very efficient job of my Imaging, I was escorted to a room to wait for my sonogram. However, the orders weren’t there for the sonogram, and they quickly reached out to my physician who sent orders. I was shocke

I had an appointment at 10:15. Arrived at 10am. By 11:07 I was still sitting in the lobby waiting yet people are being called left and right. I inquired when I was going to be seen and was told they were short staffed, but again everyone was being called back except me. People who arrived way after me was being called as well. I eventually just left. Will let my provider know and schedule elsewhere.

The staff that schedules imaging needs training. Absolutely the worst customer service. After six calls to them since October, promised to call me back, countless efforts from my Dr.'s office, they still can't figure out how to make an appointment for me.

Beware! They changed their billing practices three times on me, uping it each time. Was assured multiple times that they were only doing covered procedures, but lied. I will never use UVA Health for ANY service again. Interacted with Dariely Rivas Rodriguez. Truly disgusted with this organization, they should be ashamed of themselves. Money is their only business, not patients or healthcare.

Good patients, get good service. UVA Medical is top notch.
