USC Arcadia Hospital Emergency Room - Ambulance Entrance

Today is 6/21/24. Last night my 3 1/2 year old grandson had a protruded round hard stomach and complained of belly pain. He has had a rash for close to 3 weeks now, and has had constipation problems for the past year. Took him to ER at USC Arcadia Hospital last night at 8pm. BIG MISTAKE! You would think I would have learned from past experiences from this horrid place! We were there for nearly 3 hours and no one ever called us other than to rudely publicly take his vitals and dismiss us like we were an intrusion. Finally we got up and left. My grandson still had belly pain and his tummy was still round and hard. The info intake person with the Australian accent didn’t seem concerned. I been to a few emergency but this emergency is by far the worse and win the turtle race. Just doing the regular test they took over 5 hours to process everything.

You can expect to wait over 3 hours just to be seen. And another 2 to 3 hours for blood/lab work. Probably the slowest emergency room in the area.

Best hospital may take some time but everyone is friendly but busy helping others you can see them working hard
