UR Medicine Urgent Care – Spencerport

I’ve been twice in the last 2 months because I needed weekend appointments my doctor didn’t have. Exceptional care both times. The staff was kind, very short wait times, treatments started in the office and prescriptions sent to my pharmacy immediately. I had an X ray done in the office on one visit with results in less than 20 minutes. The RNs and PAs were very kind and listened well. I know there are bad reviews about this location which is why I wanted to leave this. I will continue to come here with my family

Came yesterday with a bee sting to make sure the large red area 4”x2” on my hand was not becoming cellulitis. Amy, PA confirmed that it wasn’t cellulitis and to wait a few more days. I told her my GP prescribed Prednisone for bee stings, because I am somewhat allergic. She suggested Baking soda and water paste, cortisone, ice and Zyrtec. I asked her for a print out of my chart and right there under meds it states prednisone for bee stings. What a waste of time and I’m sure I’ll get a nice bill. Contacting my GP for a prescription refill ( luckily I had some Prednisone on hand). In one day, swelling and redness is gone.

We have had fabulous experiences at this urgent care, but NOT yesterday. The person who took my daughter's vitals and the Dr. were nice, however the woman who put information into the computer was mean and miserable. My husband went with my teenage daughter and the woman was rude. My daughter was clearly upset and not feeling well. "Why are you here?" was the first thing she asked. She looked at my husband and asked him, "And who are you?" Her tone and demeanor were unacceptable during their entire interaction. She shouldn't be interacting with sick and injured people. Do better.

Went here yesterday. Spencerport location. I got in quickly. The nurse was really nice. I saw the PA Garrett who was friendly and professional. They sent over my prescription right away. The whole visit was less than a hour. I was satisfied with the care. Edit (after another visit): I went in today for another issue and again was in and out in less than a hour. The PA Christopher was hands down one of the nicest providers I've seen in awhile.

Best wait times of all the UR urgent cares. Not every PA listens and aids in symptoms which is why no 5 start, but they rotate out a lot. I'm closer to other urgent care locations, but their wait times are 2-3 hours from the minute they open the door. This location I've never waited more than 15 minutes.
