UPMC Partnering for Dental Services

Never really liked this practice but it was convenient, the dentist doesn't have very good bedside manner and runs in and out of the room constantly. The hygienists were always great and mostly what kept us coming back. My son had an appointment today I completely forgot about, I called to reschedule and they told me it would be an entire year!!! 3 of the hygienists left so they are backed up. I said we were on the way and we rushed over and got to the doors 5 mins late and they were locked. Very disappointed

I reached out to office to cancel an appointment that was scheduled in March. The rep I spoke to (I wish I had a name) advised that there was nothing scheduled for that date. I advised this appointment was scheduled in March of 2025 (provided the exact date) this rep advised me that she doesn’t see any information for an appointment & that “we’re human so we make mistakes” but I thought that was very unprofessional and I didn’t appreciate the way she handled the call. This is people’s HEALTH. Be considerate & SCHEDULE THESE APPOINTMENTS CORRECTLY.

Doctor Novak and his staff are 100% amazing! I haven’t been there in a year and a half, I am making an appointment tomorrow morning. And of all the years I’ve been on planet Earth I have never met a Doctor Who put as much effort Into trying to preserve something for me. This young man and his staff treated me like a real human being.

I had a extraction scheduled here but had to reschedule do to medical issue, finally got that tooth extracted and was given an appt to get another tooth extracted I was cancelled do to an office staff issue was told they'll get me in soon as and open spot comes available I calls to see what's going on was told I failed to show up for my extraction last year in June never failed to show up I called and cancelled already had that tooth extracted last month clearly they don't chart things correctly or keep up with what was done because if she was as smart as she was rude and sarcastic she would have say that, Dr is excellent his dental assistant is excellent that front office staff is rude and has been from day 1 I just ignored them but I'm personally over ignoring the unprofessional rude fro

I called the day before my appt. To reschedule due to a stomach virus and vomiting. Was told if I cancelled the appt I would be put as a no show and never seen again in the office and that is exactly what they did, now added to some list that I can never get an appt through them again.. Very unprofessional.
