UPMC-GoHealth Urgent Care

The staff is amazing at this location!! They are always so kind and deeply care about their their patients in the community. They always get us seen in a timely manner and take their time to help and understand your needs. It's the only place I will take our family to be seen because of the nurse's DR's and don't get me started on how much I love the conversations I have with the secretary when I'm greeted she the kindest woman with the most amazing art and stories. When I go I always feel at home and for a person with anxiety that's hard to find. I 💯 recommend them to anyone!!!

Whole staff was fast and courteous. Obviously under high stress, big turn days. They deserve to be celebrated for their hard work! Those visiting, online scheduling is an option and recommended just in case. Still plan on a wait. (They offered to call as to clear up waiting room space) I walked in, rescheduled and still they fit me in later that day. They were on a long wait for walk ins both times I stopped so plan accordingly. Easy to follow system but BUSY location. Be kind and patient! They helped me with all my needs and were personable. Its sad to see people be so quick to cast judgment on them for things out of their control. Absolutely recommend. 10/10 staff. Excellent experience.

If I could give this place zero stars I would. What is the point of making an appointment if I am still waiting for almost an hour to be seen? Or how about when I am waiting, people who come in with no appointment still get managed to be seen before me? Honestly, the place wasn’t even that packed. There were no children at the time who needed appointments. So what’s the excuse this time? Then when you ask about the unnecessary wait, they tell you to sit down and someone will be with you shortly. WHAT IS TOUR DEFINITION OF SHORTLY? Because sitting since 10am then and having an appointment for 10am and NOT being seen until 11:30 is just straight up disrespectful to me as a human being. People do have other responsibilities during the day. But this is just my personal experience and

I was looking for a more specific way to recognize a doctor, a nurse, and a PA I have interacted with on behalf of my children a few times now at this location. I appreciate the patience the nurses and the PA's have with my young daughters. Including the doctor who has treated them, the knowledge and getting straight to the point, I prefer taking them here when something serious arises compared to their pediatrician or an ER. I understand that may sound terrible, however one of my daughters have incredible anxiety in terms of doctors. However here she does much better than her pediatrician. So without judgement, and as a very simple thank you, I would recommend this location for a variety of needs. Their patient care being on the top of the list.

This place was awful! The nurse was rude and judgmental acting. Made me feel so uncomfortable. I almost left just after that encounter. The nurse practitioner basically came in and said she was not full trained and didn’t know what to do. When the results came back and I asked for a different medicine they basically told me to find my own pharmacy and good luck. Will never go back and don’t recommend to anyone! I’ve been to many many urgent cares and this by far was the most awful care I have received. My own doctor (after speaking with my family doc) was appalled at what I reported to her.
