WOW!! The experience I had at the ER was exceptionally outstanding. Exceptional Nurse Jenna did my triage, she was concerned from the moment I walked in. I sat in the waiting area less than 5 minutes and I was taken to a room where Exceptional Nurse Shanika was waiting to give me my IV and take my blood. She had came over from another team just to help out with me. Exceptional Nurse Rose was my next encounter, she was with me the rest of the night . She was encouraging and comforting to me. Then there’s the Exceptional Dr. Tamara Wilson who came in with a great bedside manner full of concern for me. She explained that I would have a CT Scan done and blood work, told me not to worry they would find out what’s going on, she was very very pleasant. Then there was courteous and polite

Shout-out to Erica in the ER. This was my first time at UM Charles Regional Medical Center, and I want to recognize the ER nurse ERICA who cared for me during my visit on February 3, 2026 around 1130am. She was extremely professional, caring, and made me feel genuinely welcomed the moment I arrived. She consistently checked in on me throughout my time there, explained things clearly, and treated me with kindness and respect. When you’re anxious or not feeling well, that kind of care matters. I’m very grateful.

I am extremely grateful to the Emergency Room team at UM Charles Regional Medical Center. The nurses, doctors, and stroke team were professional, compassionate, and thorough. They took excellent care of my brother, completed all necessary tests, and clearly explained everything to us. Their kindness and attention during a stressful time meant so much to our family. Thank you for your outstanding care.

Worst hospital ever the PA discharged my brother with acute appendicitis, the PA told my mom he had strep and ignored her concerns regarding his stomach pain (CT scan was done but results were not reviewed with my mother). when she came home i read the discharge paperwork and saw the results said Acute appendicitis i called the emergency department and asked why he was discharged in this condition they made and excuse and said "we just received his CT scan results" which is a complete lie because it was on the discharge paperwork, the PA just overlooked it and refused to take accountability. I called patient relations and haven't heard back which doesn't surprise me. We ended up at a different hospital and he needed surgery that same night. Avoid this ER if possible.

A complete waste of time and energy. I checked myself into the ER around 1 AM March 8, 2026 and I had to take my IV out my own arm around 8:30 in the morning because I did not see a doctor or a nurse about my blood results no follow up no nothing I felt like I was a low priority a second thought, and it felt a little bit of systematic racism. Would not recommend at all
