UK King's Daughters Paintsville Urgent Care Center

My wife had a cardiac event that put her in the hospital at Hazard,Ky a few days after Christmas. A cardiologist from Appalachian cardiologist showed up at 5:15 AM and talked to her for a few minutes and when I arrived at 9:00 am that morning she didn't remember anything. We have no idea what is going on with her heart since we only seen a nurse practitioner on January 10th. She does need some kind of test but instead of doing it at Hazard ARh they sent us to paintsville 70 miles away. I am 68 and disabled and someone sent a email from this place stating that she should not take any heart meds 48 hours before the test; we have called several times tried trying to verify this and this place or the cardiologist office DOES Not return our calls. I haven't even been there but I would never go

The doctors, nurses, and male receptionist have always been helpful and nice. However, the woman receptionist named Barb is an absolutely nightmare to deal with. I dread going every time thinking I may have to deal with her. She is extremely rude and hateful, like many other reviews have said. I don’t understand how she still works there when there are so many bad comments. There are plenty of good people needing a job.

Brought my 2 year old in he was running a high fever 102 & coughing. We have a newborn at home, so we needed to know what he has. They were only going to test him for RSV and Covid. I suggested they do more tests; we would like to know what was wrong, considering we have a 4-day-old at home. We had to wait for the results; we didn’t hear anything back, no phone call or anything been two days. so we decided to call & it turns out he had an ear infection & tested positive for parainfluenza. I’m sure there’s people here that are good at what they do but there’s some slacking going on.

Receptionist named Barb was very rude to me just now. Had asked if they saw kids cause I brought my 2 year old. Some places won't see kids under a certain age. The tone of her voice when she answered me was very rude. The tone in her voice the rest of the time she was talking to me wasn't very nice either.

Highly recommend if you enjoy waiting, and waiting, and waiting. With an almost empty parking lot i should say
