Scheduled an appointment for an initial routine check-up visit with my new doctor, who was supposed to be my NEW primary care physician, chosen from my Insurance network. I paid my insurance co-pay at that visit, received my initial examination and consultation with my new physician and scheduled a follow-up for 3 weeks later. I didn't expect to receive an additional $300 (so far) worth of bills in the interim. According to my Insurance company, because of the way the doctor coded my visit, I started receiving numerous bills from the hospital which the insurance didn't cover due to my annual co-pay amount which hadn't been met. In 64 years, I've NEVER paid this much for a routine check-up at a doctor's office. They also tried to get me to sign some sort of open-ended "estimate of charges",

Had an appointment with a PCP but it got cancelled due to the doctor not being there and they didnt even let me know. Was not able to get rescheduled until 14 days later.

The nurses and Dr are excellent with my handicapped son! Thanks for all your caring!
