THROUGH LIFE STAGES PROFESSIONAL COUNSELING SERVICES

My brother and I have been going to Dr. Kaufman since 2019. She has been extremely helpful teaching my how to cope with my PTSD and other difficulties. The homework assignments she has me doing are tough, but they do help me understand and identify the triggers that set me off; especially at night when I'm trying to sleep. Dr. Kaufman knows all too well what us veterans are going through during these uncertain times. When it seems like hope is flying out the window with each passing day, Dr. Kaufman, is the one person I go to for clarity on dealing with all this political BS.

Before meeting Dr. Kaufman, I was in a very dark place, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. Most people simply cannot understand the inner demons those of us who struggle with PTSD are dealing with on a daily basis. Depression, Anxiety, Frustration, Anger, you name it, all leads to an overwhelming sense of guilt and hopelessness. Dr. Kaufman, has been helping me to identify the triggers that invoke my demons, and how to combat them so that I can regain control of my life. For me personally, Dr. Kaufman gave me the tools I needed to take control of my life back; and for that, I cannot thank her enough.

Dr. Kaufman is deeply understanding of My conflicts in family and life and always has good rationale for problem solving. There's always beneficial takeaways in making you think and doing your home- work, which is what I need. Insightful and experienced.

After being in a very dark place in my life, Dr. Kaufman led me back to reality with our sessions and her heart felt discussions. It is obvious that Dr. Kaufman is a well trained professional and will make you feel as if you made a life long friend. August 25th will be my two year mark of no drinking and it has turned my life around. Thank you Dr. Kaufman!

Dr. Kaufman has been, and continues to be an insightful, intuitive, kind, present and uplifting confidant. Which is a rarity for this Disabled Veteran, who lives with vacillating moods and levels of PTSD related anxiety and trust issues.
