I was so pleased with my first appointment with Dr. Loftus! I never dreamed he would be so personal. He put me at ease after determining my prognosis. I have all the faith in him to perform my cervical disc surgery.

Dr Loftus is the absolute BEST. If you are in need of a surgeon for your neck and back, he’s definitely the #1 choice in all of Austin and probably all of Texas for that matter. I had a cervical spine surgery (neck) with fusion and then 5 days later had a lumbar fusion. I can honestly say I experienced zero pain in my neck where the fusion and hardware were installed and same for the lumbar areas after the surgery. The pain I have is from secondary issues associated, but the actual surgery areas were never painful which I’m still honestly completely surprised about. I met with Dr Loftis after wanting a second opinion from an ER visit where they suggest serious back surgery. He and his team were fantastic! The location is easy to get to and accessible for someone with mobility issues. The office team is professional, knowledgeable, and kind. Both the NP and Dr Loftis listened to my situation and thoroughly examined me before informing me that surgery was likely not even needed (Hooray!) and then explained exactly why. They both answered all my questions and didn't leave me feeling dumb or stupid for even being there when I didn't need surgery at all.

Dr Loftus and his staff are wonderful. My past and present experience with Dr Loftus has been superior. His medical and patient skills are above reproach. I highly recommend him. Plus he has a great smile.

I initially saw Dr. Loftus for lower back pain, which had been unsuccessfully treated by physical therapy, multiple chiropractors, and Airrosti. Upon my first visit to Austin Neurosurgical Institute, Dr. Loftus and his staff were very welcoming and kind. They truly listened and immediately understood my symptoms and concerns.
