I had an incredibly disappointing experience at Wilhelm Dental Group. I came in for a one-time cleaning, and the hygienist disconnected the permanent bottom wire from my teeth, which was placed after my braces. When I brought this up to Dr. Eric Wilhelm, he completely dismissed my concern and insisted it was already like that when I arrived, even though I could feel the wire freely moving in my mouth. Instead of fixing their mistake immediately, they made me schedule another appointment two weeks later to remove it. The discomfort was unbearable, so my mother called to request an earlier appointment. I had an extremely disappointing experience with The Wilhelm Dental Group in La Plata, MD, and I would never recommend this practice. My son went in for a routine cleaning, during which the hygienist dislodged his permanent retainer. Instead of taking responsibility, she implied that it was already loose. My son, who has had this retainer for nearly twenty years without any issues, told her that it was securely in place before the appointment, but she completely disregarded him. Dr. Wilhelm agree to see me on very short notice, and was very helpful to guide me the solution to my tooth issue. He has been my Dentist for many years. Ginger was also very kind and accommodating. I recommend The Wilhelm Group!
