I have been trying to work with this nursing home for a while and it has been a terrible experience for my mother and our family. The staff steals and the nursing home refuses to pay or replace stolen items. My mother is unable to move but her phone and tablet was cracked and had water damage. I sent the receipts but I keep getting the runaround. The director Kris Welshman does not make sure that there are enough staff members throughout the day and takes no responsibility for the actions of her staff. They make schedules to clean the residents but they are not being taken care of. The resident request help and they go unanswered. They will give your loved ones medicine without your permission. The staff (that you could find) were incredibly sweet and accommodating, which is the only asset this place has going for it. Facility is incredibly dated and understaffed. Unlike some of the other reviews, the essentials of our family members room seemed functional, despite some of them being far too old to still be in service. Like a lot of these places, top side profit margins are first. This obviously affects the residents and staff mutually. If we can get our family member out of this facility, we will. Considering the array of options available in Waukesha, this place may struggle soon. This property is in dire need of a capital investment.

My father was sent to this place after a hospital visit. He was there for about a month or so. Upon arriving I was able to go into the facility. Since it is COVID that is the only time I was aloud in the building. He has a special medication that he has to take daily and he brought it with him from the hospital. The nurse physically showed me the two bottles in her hand that they received them. About 2 to 3 weeks later I was wondering If they needed more supply of the medication. They told me they have no idea what I'm talking about. They lost the medication. they told me that there is a lack of communication between the two shifts. They are short shift staff. Nobody really cares in this facility as they are about to sell. He left the facility after a month or so with bad sores all over

This place is understaffed, rooms are extremely old and drab, t.v.s don’t work! Stay away from this nursing home! Toilet was incredibly dirty. No one at front desk or nurses’ station to ask a question. Terrible place!

If I could give negative stars I would. This place is TERRIBLE to say the least. The staff is useless and treated my father terribly. I would NEVER recommend anyone send their loved ones to this terrible place.
