The Grove at Valhalla Rehabilitation and Nursing Center

I've been a patient at the grove for about 3 weeks now and I wanted to share my experience so far. First of all it's beautiful here and the food is really good. All of the staff are incredibly friendly and they are helping me with my leg and arm ambulation. The therapy department has been helping me tremendously with my speech as well. Shanakay my aid is a beautiful human who never hesitates to help me. Sata and Eric my nurses are also very caring and nice to me. My admission process went very well thanks to the concierge and admission department. Im beyond thankful to all the staff here at The Grove and would recommend this place to anyone who needs healing!

The atmosphere at The Grove is very welcoming. The staff works together and is amazing. The facility itself does a lot to coordinate activities for the patients and they ensure safety. There are always a lot of supplies for care. The food is amazing as well. I would encourage anyone to bring their family here as they will be well taken care of. Everyone here goes above and beyond!

I was very scared to come here to begin with but once I got here I felt so comfortable. Faina is the best nurse that you can have. She knew that I was scared when I got here, and she calmed my nerves and showed me everything. Gloria the NP is wonderful. The aides, Sandra Dee, Dahlia, Eunice and Marcenia are very caring, loving, compassionate and you can put your trust in them. When you ask them for a nurse, they go right to get one. Chelle, Casey and Patsy in rehab push you, but not too much and they get you to move. Chelle is very loving, Casey is cute and funny and Patsy doesn’t play.

My experience at The Grove is excellent. The therapists are very attentive to your circumstances and they also motivate you for continuous rehabilitation, which is excellent in my opinion. The nurses and the aides are also great at what they do! Shout to Shatira, Nicole and Dr. Amanda, my favorite. For me, there is no where else other than The Grove for my rehabilitation.

I am amazed at the cleanliness of The Grove. They come to clean and disinfect every day. The aides and the nurses have treated me very well and I’m very happy. When it comes to food, I think that it is terrific here. The vegetables are always cooked soft and the food is always hot. I truly don’t know how they do it.
