The Children's Medical Group - Fishkill

Unfortunately, my experiences at several of the children’s medical facilities have been consistently disappointing. The providers and nurse practitioners often come across as curt and impersonal, with little effort made to genuinely engage with the sick child. Appointments feel extremely rushed—more like an assembly line than a medical visit—leaving little room for meaningful interaction or thoughtful care. Pediatric healthcare should be compassionate and attentive, yet these visits feel transactional, as though the next patient is simply being called forward. It’s disheartening to feel that concerns aren’t fully heard or that a child’s comfort and emotional needs are secondary to speed and volume.

Love Children's Medical Group- AMAZING staff, especially the front desk. If there isn't a room available, they get up to clean it so we can be seen sooner. The doctors are extremely thorough and dedicated to their patients. Even the nursing staff is on point, knowledgeable, and great with the children.

We called for a sick visit appointment in the morning and were seen the same day a few hours later. We absolutely loved the doctor we saw. She was thorough, explained everything well and was very personable. What more could a parent ask for!

CMG at the Fishkill office are always very prompt and on time which is great. The nursing staff is very kind, patient and caring with my children. Very professional and empathetic. The staff at the front desk are always friendly and helpful as well. Some of the doctors have better "care" or bedside manner than others. Its usually pretty easy to get a sick visit for my children if needed. I'm still looking for a GOOD provider at this practice for my children to see consistently. We usually book with who's available first at Fishkill. But overall, its been a pretty good experience thus far. No serious complaints.

This place has some of the best doctors. But if you need to make an appointment on the weekend for a sick child. That is were the system breaks down. I have called several times and just automate voice prompts after 5-10 minutes it tells you to leave a voicemail. I really don't think any offices are open on the weekend? if so they should just say so instead of giving you hope that someone is going to call you back on the weekend. Mon-Fri this this place is truly amazing great doctor's, on the other hand, the weekend you should just take you sick kids to urgent care truthfully which is a shame. This goes for the entire children medical group not just the one in Fishkill. btw it tell you to make an appointment online which is a great option too, but if it is for the weekend, then you end u
